Ingredients
For the Steak:
2 ribeye, sirloin, or filet mignon steaks (about 1-inch thick)

1 tbsp butter

2 garlic cloves (crushed)

Fresh thyme or rosemary sprigs (optional)
For the Creamy Garlic Sauce:

4 garlic cloves (minced)

½ cup heavy cream

¼ cup beef broth (or chicken broth)

¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
1. Prepare the Steak

Remove steak from fridge 30 minutes before cooking to bring to room temperature.

Pat dry with paper towels and season generously with salt and pepper.
2. Sear the Steak
